Sabo Now Supports Polar: Accept Payments from Korea and Beyond
Big news for Korean founders! Sabo now integrates Polar alongside Stripe, finally enabling developers in Korea to accept global payments for their SaaS products.
We're excited to announce that Sabo now supports Polar as a payment provider alongside Stripe.
Why This Matters
If you're building a SaaS from Korea, you've probably hit this wall: Stripe doesn't support Korean merchants.
This has forced Korean founders to set up foreign business entities or give up on global customers entirely.
Not anymore. Polar supports merchants from almost anywhere in the world, including Korea. Now you can accept payments globally while receiving funds directly in your Korean bank account.
How to Use Polar in Sabo
1. Create a Polar Account
Head to polar.sh and sign up. Connect your bank account from Korea.
2. Create Your Product
In the Polar dashboard, create a product and grab your product ID.
3. Configure Sabo
Update your environment variables:
PAYMENT_PROVIDER=polar
POLAR_ACCESS_TOKEN=your_polar_access_token
POLAR_PRODUCT_ID=prod_xxxxxxxxxxxx
POLAR_WEBHOOK_SECRET=whsec_xxxxxxxxxxxxThat's it. Your checkout flow now uses Polar, and you can accept payments from customers worldwide.
If you can code, you can sell. No matter where you live.
Get started with Sabo and launch your SaaS with global payment support from day one.
